Pad printing on pens and promotional products
Decoration method
Pad printing transfers ink via a soft pad to small and curved surfaces: pens, USB flash drives, clips and plastic items. Several colours possible, one at a time. Proof per product.
Writing and office

How it works
The ink is etched into a plate, picked up by a soft silicone pad and pressed against the product. The pad shapes itself to the surface, which makes the method the standard for small and curved items.
Each colour is a separate print. The result withstands normal use but can wear on surfaces that are rubbed often.

Frequently asked questions
Pad printing transfers ink from an etched plate via a soft silicone pad to the product. The pad shapes itself to the surface, which is why the method is the standard for pens, USB flash drives, clips and other small or curved items. Each colour is a separate print.
The price depends on the setup per design, the number of colours, since each colour is a separate print, and the number of products. The price per technique is calculated in the quote.
Pad printing gives colour on small and curved surfaces but can wear where the product is rubbed often. Laser engraving etches the logo into the material, cannot wear off and is single coloured in the material's own tone. If you want colour, pad printing is the right fit; if the marking should last for many years, engraving is the right fit.
